HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment has presented Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) with "The innovative technology for green development" award for its Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
TMV has been actively carrying out activities toward the environment and sustainable development, as well as encouraging environmentally friendly innovative technologies.
The award, which is given on the occasion of World Environment Day on June 5, is aimed at enhancing national strategies for green development, which targets to study and implement innovative technology for better use of natural resources, reducing glass house effects, and finding better solutions for climate change.
TMV is one of 50 typical enterprises and the only automaker to be honoured with this award in appreciation of its continuous efforts toward implementing many meaningful activities for environmental protection, such as energy saving, waste and pollution reduction, as well as innovations for segregating wastes at source. — VNS
