HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Hyundai Thanh Cong has revealed a new sports-themed vehicle, Santa Fe 2015, reflecting their goal to become the leading brand for large SUVs in Viet Nam.

Ready to join Hyundai's high-performance cars in the first quarter of 2015, the Santa Fe brings a more aggressive look and promises improved handling, disclosed the company, an authorised car assembler and dealer of Hyundai Motors in Viet Nam.

The SUV, which has two engine options, a gasoline 2.4L Thera II MPI and a diesel 2.2 CRD-I, delivers max output of 176 ps and 197 ps, respectively, revealed the company. Hyundai Motors has a manufacturing factory based in the northern province of Ninh Binh.

Santa Fe 2015 is also available in 2WD (front wheel drive) and 4WD (four wheel drive), which meet the demand for both urban and rural transportation.

Most modern safety features embedded into the new vehicle include Anti-lock Braking System, Electronics Brakeforce Distribution, Electronics Stability Control and a Traction Control System.

Hyundai Thanh Cong said the cars, which have retail prices ranging from VND1.130 billion to VND1.3 billion, will be offered with a three-year guarantee or a guaranteed mileage of 80,000, depending on which expires first. — VNS
