HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Ford Viet Nam reported record sales of over 1,500 units in October, which also represented a jump of 73 per cent year-on-year.

The company attributed the increase to continuing demand across its entire lineup, including all-time monthly sales records for the Ranger, Transit, and the recently launched EcoSport.

The record month has helped it capture a 10.3 per cent market share in October, up 8.7 per cent from a year earlier, and remain among the top three selling automotive brands, it said.

Jesus Metelo Arias, the company's managing director, said, "The continuing rise in appeal for the Ford brand among Vietnamese, a stable economy and healthy consumer confidence is helping keep our showrooms busy across the country.

"Our full line-up of vehicles is allowing us to connect with such a wide range of customers and meet their transportation and lifestyle needs." — VNS
