HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The new versions of Honda City, Toyota Corolla Altis and Mercedes-Benz C-Class are among the cars expected to heat up the automobile market towards the end of the year.

The period from now till the end of the year is seen as the final opportunity or the biggest business season of the year for automobile firms because many Vietnamese people tend to buy cars before Tet (lunar New Year) holiday. This is also the time of the year by which customers have saved enough money and decide to buy vehicles.

The website doanhnhansaigon.vn presents several models that are expected to be ‘hot' till early 2015:

Sedan Honda City will be rolled out in the market soon, with an estimated price of VND560 million.
Porsche Macan, the all-new SUV from Porsche, will be released in Viet Nam with three versions, namely Macan, Macan S and Macan Turbo, for VND2.69 billion, VND3.2 billion and VND4.4 billion respectively.
BMW X4's version 28i is likely to enter the Vietnamese market at the end of this year, and would be worth VND2.76 billion. The sedan can reach a speed of 100 kilometres per hour in 6.4 seconds.
Mercedes-Benz C-Class 2014 is designed to be as fast as A-Volution.
The new version of Toyota Corolla Altis is 80 millimetres longer and 16 millimetres wider than the old one. The car is equipped with cruise control, traction control and brake test with ABS.
The price of Nissan Navara 2015 has not been announced yet, but it is expected to compete with cars such as Ford Ranger, Mitsubishi, Toyota Hilux, Chevrolet Colorado and Isuzu Dmax.
