HA NOI (Biz Hub) — LEXUS Vietnam introduced the all-new NX200t, a sharply styled luxury compact crossover, together with Lexus premium services in the Vietnamese market on May 26.

The new car is imported and distributed by Toyota Motor Vietnam.

It has been conceived under the concept of "premium urban sports gear" as an edgy and emotional design, intended to appeal to new customers who lead active urban lifestyles. Meanwhile, ‘Sports' has a dynamic and active attitude that shapes the aggressive and individualistic styling, and injects a sporting edge into driving, with sport-honed acceleration, control and handling.

Speaking at the ceremony, President of Toyota Motor Vietnam Yoshihisa Maruta said the NX completed Lexus' SUV line-up in Viet Nam in its ceaseless effort to exceed customer expectations.

"We are confident that the NX will attract new customers to the Lexus Brand, who seek sportiness, individuality comfort and environment-awareness value," Maruta said.

The new Lexus NX features many firsts, including a 2.0L turbo engine with water-cooled cylinder head and integrated exhaust manifold and the twin scroll turbo charger; pull-type outside door handles with illumination and hidden key cylinder, rear power reclining and folding seats (60:40), and uniquely shaped three–lens LED headlamps.

LEXUS offers a new premium brand service standard, based on the famous Japanese hospitality spirit of Omotenashi, through its services in the showrooms of Lexus dealers.

Customers who buy the NX200t will enjoy three years or 60,000km free maintenance, whichever comes first after delivery, by professional technicians at Lexus dealers nationwide, and three years or unlimited kilometre warranty with advanced technology equipments at Lexus dealers. For paint damage, surface rust and normal battery, Lexus offer warranty of three years or 100,000km, whichever comes first. Corrosion perforation is covered by a six-year warranty, regardless of the kilometres covered.

The new model comes in seven exterior and three interior colours, and is a priced at more than VND2.4 billion (US$110,091). — VNS
