HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Viettel, Viet Nam's largest telecom operator, has deployed thev Ericsson Multi-platform Video Processing solution with the Ericsson AVP 4000 system encoder to deliver cable TV along with its existing IPTV services.

Ericsson has provided Viettel with a solution optimised for scale and reliability, while also delivering cost savings due to the high efficiency of the Ericsson AVP 4000.

Viettel will also take advantage of the TV competence and global presence of the company's services offering.

Ericsson will be responsible for services such as design, supply and systems integration - for systems involved in everything from acquisition to transmission at the head-end, inclusive of multiple sub systems - as well as commissioning and support of the operator's complex ecosystem. — VNS
