TOSY Robotics JSC will sell high-tech toy robot DiscoRobo

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — DiscoRobo, a high-tech toy robot developed by Viet Nam's TOSY Robotics JSC, will go on sale to the public from August 25 for VND449,000 (US$21.38).

The robot can feel the music and dance along to eight kinds of upbeat tempos. It is also the only toy robot in the world to have the ability to listen and move to a rhythm and knows 56 different dance steps.

DiscoRobo moves when hearing the sound of instruments, hands clapping or other noises.

The robot's producer uses high-quality tough plastics that meet the strict requirements demanded by many foreign markets.

In Viet Nam, TOSY is also providing a special edition of DiscoRobo, which has a loudspeaker system that plays high quality sound. Customers can download their music onto a memory card or connect the loudspeaker to mobile phones and tablets.

DiscoRobo has been on sale at several major markets in the world including the US, Europe, Australia, Brazil and has also been sold on Amazon.com online shopping. It was voted as one of the best new products at the 2012 American International Toy Fair in New York. — VNS
