HA NOI Biz Hub) — Vinhomes, part of real estate Vingroup, was ranked the most valuable real estate brand in Viet Nam in 2015, in a list of 50 biggest brands, by London-based Brand Finance.
The evaluation company Brand Finance, selected Vietnamese brands for the first time, thanks to the strategic co-operation between it and Mibrand, the leading local Brand Management consultant company.
The aggregate value of those 50 brands was about US$5.5 billion. Of the list, Vinamilk was ranked No.1 with more than $1.1 billion in value, Viettel, ranked second with $580 million in value and Vinhomes ranked third with $343 million in value.
The group representative said that in the top ten of the list, Vinhomes represented the only private enterprise, and the only one in the real estate category.
The other two brands of the group, Vincom and Vinpearl, and their two other subsidiaries, were also present in the top 50 most valuable brands in the country this year.
Accordingly, Vincom, which was in the category of retailing and space leasing ranked 28, and Vinpearl in the category of tourism and resort ranked 32.
The two subsidiaries of Sai Dong Urban Development and Investment Corporation, investor of Vinhomes Riverside and Ha Noi Southern City Development JSC, investor of Times City project were also present in the top 50 list.
Annually, Brand Finance announces the value of more than 57,000 brands around the globe. Some of the top annual reports by the marketer include Top 500 Global Brands, Top 500 Banks, and the National Brand Report. These reports are widely published by top media sites such as BBC, CNN, CNBC, and Bloomberg, apart from The Economist and The Wall Street Journal. — VNS
