Phu My Hung develops international commercial and financial district

HCM CITY (Biz Hub) – Crystal Palace, a new four-star property, has opened in the International Commercial and Financial District of Phu My Hung City Centre in HCM City, offering an ideal new destination to organise parties, weddings, and business meetings in the area.

The 11,500sq.m hotel has nine floors with 80 guest rooms designed in European style.

It can accommodate 1,500 guests at wedding and other parties. Its restaurants offer several foreign cuisines and live music.

Crystal Palace is a small part of the Phu My Hung City Centre's International Commercial and Financial District, which is comparable to Manhattan in New York or Shinjuku in Tokyo for the presence of famous names in the financial sector that offer comprehensive services.

Experts predict that this international commercial and financial district will soon share the burden with HCM City's financial centre.

They say it has even more advantages than the former since it has been developed as a model modern urban area with comprehensive infrastructure and convenient transportation and is near Cai Mep – Thi Vai and Hiep Phuoc ports.

The 46ha international commercial and financial district is one of eight districts in the Phu My Hung City Centre.

It is planned for development as a central business district of international standard with numerous facilities including offices, malls, banks, restaurants, hotels, and service and entertainment facilities.

Thanks to the availability of all kinds of facilities, many companies and investors have flocked to the district for both working and living.

Hundreds of companies and banks have opened offices in the district, including Vinamilk, Unilever, Manulife, Viet Nam's sole BMW distributor Euro Auto, Toyota, Porsche, Mercedes, Vietcombank, BIDV, Eximbank, and Indovinabank, etc.

Restaurants and cafes like Highlands Coffee, Pho 24, Tib, NYDC, and Yeboo are also mushrooming.

The Sai Gon Exhibition and Convention Centre here is the country's biggest exhibition centre and hosts hundreds of major events like Vietbuild and the Viet Nam Motor Show.

Phu My Hung Development Corporation said that to further develop the district many buildings have been being built.

Star Hill, finished late last year, is the first housing project in the district and has captured attention of the crowd especially after the amended housing law follows the relaxation of property rights foreigners. The property, situated in the heart of the district, comprises 14 buildings of 4 to 18 floors with apartments, townhouses, and shops.
