HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — The Novaland Group, a local property developer, was recognised as the best developer at the first Viet Nam Property Awards 2015 late last week.

The group faced competition from three other Vietnamese leading developers, CapitaLand, MIK Corporation and Vingroup.

"We were very impressed by their delivery of projects. They have a very large pipeline. And they seem to have very good success in terms of absorption and acceptance of buyers of their products," said Rudolf Hever, the head of the jury or the competition.

Along with the award, Novaland won two "highly commended certificates" for its projects Icon 56 and Sunrise City in the best mid-range condo development category.

Organised by Ensign Media, the Viet Nam Property Awards 2015 was the first event of its kind to be held in Viet Nam. Organisers plan to hold it annually. — VNS
