Novaland, a member of the NovaGroup’s ecosystem, has received the Labour Order, second class, rewarded by the Country’s President on the occasion of the group’s 30th anniversary of establishment on September 18.

The award was a recognition of the group’s efforts to contribute to the community and its achievements, especially in the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic in HCM City and various provinces.

NovaGroup is consistent in its long-term vision and strategy: “The development of the group is associated with the development of the country.”

Since its earliest days of doing business, it has entered into various collaborations to bring high technology to Viet Nam to develop the veterinary medicine market.

It helped the country switch from being an importer of veterinary medicines to an exporter.

Later NovaGroup, quickly synchronising with Viet Nam’s growth, switched from agricultural production to services, before entering the fields of investment and urban development under the Novaland brand.

Together with other corporations and units in the NovaGroup’s ecosystem, Novaland has worked hard to develop modern-style urban areas with a range of utilities and services to improve living standards in the community.

With its sustainable development strategy, Novaland has been hailed as one of the most prestigious Vietnamese brands in both the domestic and international capital markets.

It has also been a leading employer brand, attracting new talent and high-quality human resources.

Besides its rapid business growth, Novaland has also worked with the Government and various ministries, other agencies and associations for a number of activities in areas like education, health, social security, and community support in recent years, contributing more than VND1 trillion (US$42.3 million) in the process.

The group undertook various urgent and meaningful programmes in 2021 such as donating to the Vaccine Fund for COVID-19, gifting ambulances and specialized medical equipment, building isolation areas, field hospitals and intensive care centres for COVID-19 patients, launching the VND0 Supermarket Programme to donate food to underprivileged people who were isolated and quarantined during the pandemic, and cooking thousands of free meals for doctors and nurses on the pandemic frontlines.

NovaGroup pledges to continue supporting the HCM City unit of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Red Cross

“An enterprise's social responsibility does not just mean carrying out supporting activities in one locality or contributing some money; it is a long and dedicated journey to help people,” Novaland chairman Bui Xuan Huy said.

“Novaland, other members of the NovaGroup’s ecosystem, our partners and customers will implement many more programmes to support the community.

“Among the highlights are long-term programmes such as the Vietnam Future School construction projects to provide free classrooms to underprivileged and poor children in Binh Thuan, Ba Ria Vung Tau and Dong Nai provinces, planting trees for a green Vietnam and reducing plastic waste nationwide.”

Also at the 30th anniversary ceremony NovaGroup promised to assist the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Red Crossby contributing VND13 billion ($550,000) to the Fund for the Poor, Fund for the Motherland's Sea and Islands in 2022-26, and the Safety for Poor Fishmen Programme in 2022-23.
