G Homes House Development JSC in collaboration with Unicons Investment Construction Co Ltd have broken ground for Q2 THAO DIEN, a residential development in HCM City’s District 2.

G Homes, the project’s developer, is a joint venture in which Singapore’s developer Frasers Property Limited and An Duong Thao Dien Real Estate Trading Investment JSC are partners.

Q2 THAO DIEN, situated in Thao Dien Ward, will comprise a 32-storey tower with 315 apartments, 15 shop houses and 12 townhouses besides six villas.

Nguyen Gia Bao, a member of the board of director of G Homes, and chairman of An Duong Thao Dien, said: “The highlights of this project are its favourable location at the centre of the up-and-coming Thao Dien Ward, the innovative architectural capability of Singapore’s leading consulting team and wonderful features such as an unblocked panoramic view of the Saigon River.

Unicons, a member of Coteccons Group, is the main building contractor.

Construction is expected to be completed at the end of 2020, with handover of units scheduled for the first quarter of 2021. — VNS
