The 2021 Miss Earth, Destiny Wagner, on Monday joined hundreds of Novaland staff for Beach Clean-up Day, a programme to collect waste and clean the beaches around NovaWorld Phan Thiet in the central province of Binh Thuan.
The programme is part of the efforts by Miss Earth and Novaland Group to send out the message of protecting the environment.
The Belizean said it took her 40 hours to fly to Viet Nam for taking part in some meaningful activities
She has spent a lot of time spreading positive energy and calling on people to protect the environment and prevent children abuse.
"I strongly support activities for protecting the marine environment. My love for the ocean has inspired me to participate in various environmental campaigns. Back in my hometown, together with the Belizian government, we have worked to change and develop environmental policies, especially marine environment protection," shared by Destiny.

Beach cleanups are regular activities organised on Phan Thiet Beach - one of the most beautiful beaches in Vietnam that attracts a huge amount of tourists annually.
Taken in the view of Phan Thiet Beach from NovaWorld Phan Thiet, Miss Earth expressed that "Viet Nam is blessed by Mother Nature for having such a beautiful beach like Phan Thiet. I hope that today's activity will help spread the message and inspire people to join hands in protecting the environment.

Actress Truong Ngoc Anh, who also joined the clean-up, said: “I am so happy to join these meaningful activities with Miss Earth 2021. I hope these will contribute to creating bigger and meaningful changes.”
Despite visiting NovaWorld Phan Thiet for just a day, Wagner was very impressed and fell in love with the city. “I believe in future NovaWorld Phan Thiet will be a perfect destination for domestic and foreign customers.”
In recent years a number of community activities have also been carried out in Binh Thuan by Novaland Group.

There have been, healthcare and educational programmes.
It has also undertaken programmes to fight Covid-19.
Other programmes include ‘Connecting the community, responding to marine environment protection’ and ‘Clean water for schools’.
In the near future, a programme to planting green trees will begin, contributing to the Government's goal of planting one billion trees.
