VN to issue international driving licences

HA NOI (Biz Hub) ─ The Ministry of Transport's Directorate for Roads of Viet Nam will issue international driving licences from next year, as the country's application to join the Vienna Convention has been approved.

This was reported by the Voice of Vietnam, citing the directorate's deputy head Nguyen Van Quyen. "With this, Viet Nam will be fully integrated with the world in terms of driving licences," he said.

People will be able to exchange Vietnamese and foreign driving licences on like-for-like basis. ─ VNS
