The Vietnam HR Awards have returned for a fifth season to honour the most trendy and disruptive human capital initiatives that have had sustainable impacts on the workforce and organisations.

Nguyen Thu Hang, deputy editor-in-chief of the Labour and Social Affairs newspaper and chairwoman of the organising committee, said: “Businesses in Viet Nam are gradually overcoming the COVID-19 impacts. Each and every one of them will possess different strategies and policies that fit their unique contexts and goals.

“But all strategies must be centred around employees as we are more aware of how human capital has become indispensable pillars to businesses’ resilience and sustainable growth.

“With that in mind, Vietnam HR Awards 2022 aims to celebrate innovative and trendy human capital initiatives in the new normal.”

The awards have five new categories for businesses this time: Excellence for Employees Wellness, Best HR for Sustainability, Excellence in Organisational Capability Improvement, Excellence in Organisational Development & Design, Best Talent Management Strategy (encompassing Strategic Workforce Planning & Total Rewards), and Best HR Leader.

Tieu Yen Trinh, CEO of Talentnet and vice chairwoman of the organising committee, said: “Vietnam HR Awards 2022 introduces five brand new categories to capture the new shift of human capital strategies in the new normal. The award [seeks] to bring all the impactful human capital strategies together while making them the role models for sustainable growth of businesses in Viet Nam.”

The jury includes Alain Cany, chairman of Eurocham Vietnam, Colin Blackwell, chairman of the HR Committee of the World Bank’s Vietnam Business Forum, Võ Quang Huẹ, vice president of the Vietnam Association for Supporting Industries, Nguyen Huu Thiet, former human resources director of FrieslandCampina Vietnam and Myanmar, Dam Bich Thuy, founding president of Fulbright University Vietnam, Pham Phu Ngoc Trai, founder and chairman of Global Integration Business Consultants, and Nguyẽn Phi Van, chairwoman of ASEAN Business Angel Alliance and Tieu Yen Trinh, CEO of Talentnet.
