The Vietbuild Cần Thơ 2018 International Exhibition, a showcase for domestic and foreign construction businesses, opened its doors on August 2 in the Mekong Delta city of Cần Thơ.

According to the organisers, this year’s exhibition features more than 200 companies operating in the fields of construction and interior and exterior design. Among the participants are 178 domestic businesses, 29 joint ventures and foreign groups from the US, Germany, the UK, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia and China.

On show are a range of products such as building materials, home decor, paint, solar energy and water treatment machines. The event is also showcasing green materials for buildings in the Mekong Delta.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Nguyễn Trần Nam, chairman of the Việt Nam Real Estate Association, said Vietbuild Cần Thơ 2018 provided opportunities for entrepreneurs, architects, construction contractors, real estate trading floors and homebuyers.

Vietbuild Cần Thơ 2018 will also feature a workshop on environmental protection in cement production and a business forum.

The exhibition will run until August 6 at Cần Thơ International Exhibition Fair Centre. — VNS
