HCM CITY (Biz Hub) — Vinamilk has launched a new line of high-end organic fresh milk products that meets the US Department of Agriculture (USDA)'s organic standards, making it the first company to launch an organic fresh milk product in Viet Nam.

Vinamilk Organic fresh milk is produced from dairy cows bred on natural and large grasslands.

The entire care for dairy cows as well as milk production are under tight supervision to ensure products that are free of genetically modified organisms (GMOs), growth hormones, antibiotics, pesticides and fertilizers.

According to experts, food production following organic standards is the highest quality standard in the world since the production process must follow stringent regulations, including no use of chemicals, antibiotics, growth hormones and GMO components.

Phan Minh Tien, Vinamilk's managing director, said the company was proud to be the first dairy company in Viet Nam to launch the Vinamilk Organic milk line. — VNS
