HA NOI (Biz Hub) — After a two-year trial to refund VAT to foreigners at Noi Bai and Tan Son Nhat international airports, the Government has agreed to expand the practice to seven international airports and seaports starting from July 1, according to the Ministry of Finance.
They are Noi Bai, Tan Son Nhat, Da Nang and Cam Ranh international airports and Khanh Hoi, Da Nang and Nha Trang international seaports.
The ministry has proposed to the Ministry of Transport that it assign relevant agencies to co-operate with customs agencies to carry out regulations on VAT refunds for goods that foreigners take out of the country.— VNS
