HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The Viet Nam Sugar and Sugarcane Association has requested regulatory agencies to apply a flexible system to sugar exports, especially at Lao Cai Province's Ban Vuoc-Bat Xat border.
The request was made in the hopes that a more relaxed system of regulations would better facilitate domestic businesses.
Under current regulations, businesses must comply with Circular 06/2012/TT-BTC, which requires firms to present sales contracts as well as bank payment slips for exports. These requirements, however, made both domestic and foreign businesses hesitate to export or import sugar, the association said. — VNS
