HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Royal Brunei Airlines (RB) will resume flights to HCM City from October 17, 2014.

The return of RB flights to HCM City will provide more holiday options to Bruneian tourists. It will also be a great value-for-money offer for RB's passengers in Kota Kinabalu and for long-haul passengers travelling to Melbourne, Dubai and London. The passengers can add visits to Brunei and HCM City in their travel plans.

RB will operate three weekly flights to HCM City on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays on Airbus A319, while on Sundays, the flight will be operated by Airbus A320.

RB's Deputy Chairman Dermot Mannion said, "Our commercial team does regular route studies to develop and increase connectivity for our markets. In their latest studies, HCM City has emerged a frontrunner in providing connections to key markets such as Melbourne, Dubai and London, and also to regional destinations like Kota Kinabalu.

"We are delighted to include HCM City, an exciting holiday and business destination, in our network."

RB is the flag carrier of the Sultanate of Brunei. It was founded in 1974 and is wholly owned by the government of Brunei. From its hub at Brunei International Airport, RB flies to a number of regional and international destinations in Australia, China, Indonesia, Malaysia and the UK, among others. — VNS
