LONG AN (Biz Hub) ─ The People's Committee of the southern province of Long An has petitioned the Government for building a racecourse with betting services, reported Dien dan Doanh nghiep (The Business Forum).
If allowed, the racecourse will be developed in Duc Hoa District by the Hong Phat Real Estate Joint Stock Company. It will have an investment capital of US$160 million, cover an area of 324 hectares, and accommodate 30,000 people.
The committee said that the sport and entertainment complex is suitable to the local master plan for socio-economic development. It is expected to create more jobs and increase State budget revenues for the province. ─ VNS
