KinderWorld to invest $100m in Vinh Phuc

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — KinderWorld Education Group of Singapore plans to pay US$100 million to build three education centres in the northern province of Vinh Phuc during the next 10 years, according to the provincial People's Committee.

The committee said it recently granted an investment licence to Pegasus Vinh Phuc Investment and Consultancy Joint Stock Company, a subsidiary of KinderWorld, to build an education centre in the area.

Outward Bound Vietnam School is the province's first foreign direct investment project in the international education field, said Phung Quang Hung, chairman of the committee.

Since coming to Viet Nam in early 2000, KinderWorld has started two schools with 14 campuses in Ha Noi, Da Nang, HCM City, Binh Duong and Ba Ria-Vung Tau provinces, offering international and integrated education programmes. — VNS
