HA NOI (Biz Hub)— Viet Nam's exports to the Netherlands are expected to reach US$2.7 billion this year, reports the Viet Nam Industry and Trade Information Centre.
The Viet Nam General Department of Customs has also revealed that Holland has imported in excess of $1.13 billion worth of Vietnamese goods over the first five months, up 23.7 per cent year on year.
This has made it the third biggest importer of Vietnamese goods in the EU, after Germany and the UK.
Phone handsets and components take the lead amongst the range of Vietnamese goods exported to the market, earning more than $262 million, up 157.2 per cent, followed by computers, electronics and spare parts at (32.1 per cent), footwear (14.3 per cent) and garments and textiles (6.3 per cent).—VNS
