HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The industry and trade ministry has appointed Dang Hoang An as general director of the Electricity of Viet Nam (EVN), replacing Pham Le Thanh who will retire on July 1.
An was born in the northern Bac Giang Province in 1965. He has held various positions such as deputy director of the Electricity Regulatory Authority of Viet Nam, deputy director of Power Transmission Company No. 1 and deputy general director of EVN.
Earlier, EVN's Deputy General Director Duong Quang Thanh was appointed the group's chairman. — VNS
