BEN TRE (Biz Hub) — The southern province's export turnover of coconuts and coconut-based products in the first nine months of this year soared by 45 per cent over that of the same period last year.
Ho Vinh Sang, president of the Ben Tre Coconut Association, attributed the increase mainly to the increase in world prices. Currently, the province's coconuts and coconut-based products are exported to 65 countries and territories around the world, and the province has allocated nearly 65,000ha of land to coconuts.— VNS
