Vinamilk’s dividend shares are worth more than VND3.48 trillion (US$150 million)
The Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company (Vinamilk) will issue more than 348 million dividend shares at a ration of 20 per cent.
Every shareholder will receive 20 bonus shares for each 100 shares they have.
Vinamilk’s dividend shares are worth more than VND3.48 trillion (US$150 million) and funding for the issuance is taken from the firm’s undistributed post-tax profit, which was VND9.94 trillion as of June 30.
The final list of shareholders to receive dividend shares will be made on September 30. Vinamilk also plans to finalise the list of shareholders receiving dividend cash at the 20 per cent ratio on the same day.
In the first half of 2020, Vinamilk saw its total net revenue gain 6.7 per cent on-year to VND29.65 trillion and total post-tax profit increased by 2.8 per cent to VND5.86 trillion.
Vinamilk shares, listed on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange with code VNM, edged up 0.6 per cent to trade at VND118,000 ($5.09) apiece.
The company’s share price has gained more than 14 per cent in the last month. — VNS
