HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Shares ended higher on both stock exchanges on Wednesday. In Ha Noi the HNX Index rose 0.75 points to 64.54 and in HCM City the VN Index gained 3.95 points to 514.64.
Results were mixed in China, where the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.65 points to end at 2,270.93 while the Shenzhen Component Index rose 19.17 points to 9,143.44.
Singapore shares continued to end lower with the Straits Times Index slipping 47.92 points to 3,243.43.
In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 lost 518.89 to close at 13,014.87 while the broader Topix index shares went down 35.44 points to 1,090.03. — VNS
