HA NOI (Biz Hub) — National listed stocks recorded slight increases on both exchanges during this morning's trading session.
On the HCM City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index finished at 595.33 points, up 0.45 per cent. However, it registered a fall in the total turnover, amounting to VND839.5 billion ($40 million), on a volume of 56.3 million shares.
Blue chips were really active, assisting the VN30 Index to rise 0.4 per cent to stand at 621.89 points. The index, tracking the performance of the 30 largest stocks, saw 16 codes make gains.
The Ocean Group Joint Stock Company (OGC) reached its ceiling price for the third consecutive morning session, and also beat FLC Group Joint Stock Company (FLC) to top the chart of stocks that saw the maximum trading, with the exchange of more than15 million of its shares, worth VND88.7 billion ($4.2 million).
Meanwhile, nine codes tumbled and five stocks ended unchanged.
On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 85.88 points, an increase of 0.25 per cent.
The trading value reached more than VND268.6 billion ($12.8 million), as investors exchanged nearly 21.9 million shares.
The top 30 stocks on the northern bourse sent the HNX30 Index up 0.27 per cent to finish at 165.46 points. — VNS
