HA NOI (Biz Hub) ─ Stock indices continued to fall in most Asian markets on Tuesday.
Viet Nam's VN-Index closed down 2.68 points to end at 627.66 on the HCM City Stock Exchange, while the HNX-Index added 0.74 point to close at 90.15 on the Ha Noi bourse.
In Japan's Tokyo Stock Exchange, the Tokyo Price Index lost 2.86 points to finish at 1,310.86, and the Nikkei 225 dropped by 36.76 points to stand at 15,911.53.
In China, the Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index slumped 42.59 points to end at 2,296.56, and Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index lost 220.98 points to finish at 24,136.10.
In Singapore, the Straits Times Index also fell by 39.65 points to close at 3,272.82. ─ VNS
