HA NOI (VNS) — Stocks continued to climb this morning, with the VN-Index rising 0.69 per cent to close the first half session at 613.47 points.
Blue chips maintained the momentum as the VN30, tracking the top 30 shares by market value and liquidity, also increased 0.4 per cent to stand at 657.67 points.
Liquidity improved slightly, with nearly 103 million shares worth VND1.743 trillion (US$82.6 million) traded by the end of the morning.
FLC Group (FLC) secured the position of the most active code on the HCM Stock Exchange, with 7.94 million shares being traded at VND12,200 per share.
On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index added 0.59 per cent to end at 90.26 points, while the market value reached VND743.4 billion ($35.2 million).
Fourteen stocks had trades of more than 1 million shares this morning. PetroVietnam Construction Corp (PVX) topped the market with 5.8 million shares, closing flat at VND6,900 per share.
