HA NOI (Biz Hub) — The State Treasury of Viet Nam sold VND3.370 trillion (US$151 million) worth of Government bonds in auctions on October 21.
They included VND3.320 trillion worth of five-year bonds and the remaining from ten-year bonds, said the Government bond organiser – the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).
A total VND4.5 trillion ($201 million) worth of Government bonds were put on sale at the auctions.
The coupon rate of five-year and ten-year bonds was 6.65 per cent and 7 per cent per year, respectively.
The State Treasury of Viet Nam has sold more than VND104.9 trillion ($4.69 billion) worth of Government bonds so far this year. It plans to sell VND250 trillion ($11.2 billion) worth of bonds this year. — VNS
