SINGAPORE -Shares ended lower on Friday with the Straits Times Index slipping 2.98 points to 3,449.3.

 

Some 2.89 billion shares, valued at S$1.11 billion were traded. Gainers outnumbered losers 240 to 218.-- BT/SPH
