HA NOI (Biz Hub) — While the major Asian indexes fell, the Straits Times Index closed up 33.76 points to end the day at 3,236.50 in Singapore.
At the same time, the Nikkei 225 fell 56.81 points to finish at 15,138.96, and the Topix Index lost 4.07 points to end the day at 1,232.34.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index lost 70.79 points to close the day at 23,333.18, while in China, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 24.14 points to close at 2,302.42.
The VN Index slumped 8.06 points to end at 593.53, and the HNX lost 1.20 points to finish at 87.31. — VNS
