Shares see rebounds this morning

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Shares rebounded on both national stock exchanges this morning.

On the HCM City Exchange, the VN-Index advanced 0.43 per cent to 504.21 points. The total value reached VND514.2 billion (US$24.48 million) on the exchange of 45.45 million shares.

The VN30-Index, tracking the southern city's largest shares by capitalisation and liquidity, rose by 0.49 per cent to 563.68 points.

Gainers overwhelmed losers by 19-4.

After suffering strong selling pressure yesterday, bluechips recovered this morning, with Masan Group (MSN), PetroVietnam Low Pressure Gas Distribution (PGD), PetroVietnam Drilling (PVD), Vingroup (VIC) and Hoa Phat Group (HPG) adding value.

On the Ha Noi Exchange, the HNX-Index finished this morning at 66.75 points, 0.39 per cent higher, while the HNXFF-Index gained 0.45 per cent to reach 66.85 points.

With 27.6 million shares traded, the total trading value reached VND214.7 billion ($10.2 million).

The HNX30-Index increased 0.56 per cent to hit 126.38 points. — VNS
