HA NOI (Biz Hub) — National stocks rose for four straight sessions this morning.
On the HCM City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index rose 0.34 per cent to 515.66 points. The trading value increased to VND747.8 billion (US$35.2 million) on a volume of 51.75 million shares.
Among the 30 largest shares tracked by the VN30 Index, gainers outnumbered losers by 12-6. The index added 0.12 per cent to reach 573.80 points.
On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index reached 70.77 points, up 1.1 per cent. The HNX30 Index, representing the bourse's top 30 shares, also increased 1.7 per cent to 135.12 points.
As over 53 million shares were exchanged, the trading value jumped to nearly VND433 billion ($20.4 million).—VNS
