HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Shares closed higher on both the national stock exchanges this morning.

On the HCM City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index advanced 0.52 per cent to reach 552.64 points.

The total trading value in the morning reached VND1.052 trillion (US$50.09 million) on the exchange of nearly 60 million shares.

The VN30-Index rose by 0.7 per cent to end at 628.19 points. The gainers overwhelmed the losers by 18-7.

The gainers included FPT Group (FPT), Hoa Sen Group (HSG) and Vingroup (VIC), while Bao Viet (BVH) and Kinh Do (KDC) were among the losers.

On the Ha Noi Exchange, more than 44 million shares changed hands with a total value of VND295.8 billion ($14 million).

The HNX-Index advanced 0.15 per cent to reach 74.93 points, while the HNXFF-Index jumped by 0.22 per cent to finish at 74.32 points.

The HNX30-Index earned 0.87 points this morning to end at 147.41 points. — VNS
