HA NOI (Biz Hub)— Shares rebounded after yesterday's decline. On the HCM City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index ended at 503.65 points, rising 0.6 per cent.
Trading value and volume increased around 35 per cent compared to yesterday morning's level to VND699.3 billion (US$32.9 million) and 46.7 million shares.
With help from blue chips, the VN30 added 0.75 per cent to reach 564.59 points.
Among the 30 leading large-cap stocks that it tracks, only PetroVietnam Low Pressure Gas Distribution (PGD) lost ground.
On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index edged up 0.2 per cent to 61.78 points.
The value of trades totalled VND146.86 billion ($6.9 million) as nearly 18.5 million shares changed hands.
The HNX30, representing the performance of Ha Noi's top 30 stocks, rallied by 1.13 per cent to close at 116.29 points.— VNS
