HA NOI (Biz Hub)— Shares closed lower this morning in HCM City, while continuing in an upward trend in Ha Noi.
At the HCM City Stock Exchange, the Vn-Index decreased slightly, registering 0.07 per cent lower than yesterday, to reach 505.32 points.
More than 38.2 million shares were traded, at a value of VND439.16 billion (US$20.9 million).
The VN30-Index, tracking the southern city's 30 largest shares by capitalisation and liquidity, gained 0.01 per cent to 565.98 points, with gainers overwhelming losers by 11-9.
On the northern bourse, the HNX-Index advanced 0.28 per cent to 67.05 points, and the HNXFF-Index, composed of stocks with a minimum free-float rate of 5 per cent, rose by 0.14 per cent to 67.11 points.
With 18.95 million shares traded, the total value reached VND163 billion ($7.76 million).
Meanwhile, the HNX30-Index gained 0.61 per cent to 127.52 points. – VNS
