Shares gained on Monday morning thanks to strong investment cash flow poured into many sectors on the stock market.

More than 337.6 million shares were traded on the southern bourse, worth VND7.4 trillion (US$320.3 million).
The large-cap tracker VN30-Index was up 0.80 per cent to 1,016.70 points.
Twenty five of the 30 large-cap stocks in the VN30 basket increased while five declined.
Energy stocks attracted cash flow. Among the gainers were PV Gas (GAS), PetroVietnam Drilling and Wells Services (PVD), PetroVietnam Technical Services (PVS) and PetroVietnam Southern Gas (PGS).
Financial-banking stocks also gained well, including Vietinbank (CTG), Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BID), Military Bank (MBB), SSI Securities Incorporation (SSI), Techcombank (TCB), Saigon-Hanoi Securities Co (SHS).
On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index rose 1.71 per cent to 165.11 points.
More than 52 million shares were traded on the northern market, worth VNĐ777 billion.
