HA NOI (Biz Hub) – Shares closed mixed this morning, higher on the HCM City Exchange but lower in Ha Noi.

The VN-Index gained 0.4 per cent to end at 577.23 points.

More than 84 million shares changed hands with a total trading value of VND1.3 trillion, or US$61.9 million.

The VN30-Index posted a gain of 0.27 per cent to finish at 647.53 points. The gainers outnumbered the losers by 12-9.

The gainers included Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAG), Hoa Phat Group (HPG) and Hoa Sen Group (HSG), while Kinh Do (KDC), REE Corporation (REE) and PetroVietnam Transportation (PVT) posted losses.

In Ha Noi, the shares finished lower this morning. The HNX-Index dropped 0.09 per cent to finish at 81.13 points. However, the HNXFF-Index edged up 0.02 per cent to close at 80.87 points.

The HNX30-Index closed this morning up 0.21 per cent to end at 161.06 points.

The total trading value reached VND372 billion, or $17.7 million, on the exchange of more than 37 million shares. – VNS
