HA NOI (Biz Hub) —Both Vietnamese bourses saw losses Monday.The HNX Index declined 0.15 points to close at 60.03, while in HCM City, the VN Index lost 0.85 points to finish the day at 475.57.
In China, the benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) fell 4.82 points to close at 2,231.40.
Gainers were Hong Kong, where the Hang Seng Index (HSI) climbed 337.13 points to close at 23,252.41, and Singapore, where the Straits Times Index (STI) added 58.62 points to finish at 3,178.9.
No change was recorded for Japanese investors, as Monday was the country's Respect for the Aged Day. The Nikkei 225 (NKY) stayed at 14,404.67, while the Topix Index (TPX) stayed at 1,185.28.— VNS
