 Shares ended mixed for Asian investors on Monday. The HNX Index added 0.37 points to end at 61.79 in Ha Noi, while in HCM City the VN Index gained 3.72 points to close at 490.54.

HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Shares ended mixed for Asian investors on Monday. The HNX Index added 0.37 points to end at 61.79 in Ha Noi, while in HCM City the VN Index gained 3.72 points to close at 490.54.

China's benchmark Shanghai Stock Exchange Composite Index (SHCOMP) climbed 39.02 points, levelling at 2,096.47, while the Hang Seng Index (HSI) lost 141.81 points to end at 22,005.32in Hong Kong.

In Singapore, the Straits Times Index (STI) dropped 4.44 points to 3,084.41, the Nikkei 225 (NKY) fell 24.27 points to 13,636.28 and the Topix Index (TPX) lost 1.63 points, closing the session at 1,140.00 in Japan.— VNS
