HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Shares closed lower this morning on both national stock exchanges.
On the HCM City Exchange, the Vn-Index dropped 0.11 per cent to 505.51 points.
More than 35.7 million shares were traded for a total value of VND482.7 billion (US$22.98 million).
The VN30-Index, tracking the southern bourse's top shares by capitalisation and liquidity, also lost 0.05 per cent to 566.18 points.
Of those, 13 stocks decreased, in comparison with 11 stocks losing value.
Losers included logistics company Gemardebt (GMD), Hoa Sen Group (HSG), and real estate giant Vingroup (VIC).
On the Ha Noi Exchange, the HNX-Index was 0.23 per cent lower this morning, falling to 66.07 points. The HNXFF-Index also tumbled 0.26 per cent to 66.17 points.
The total trading value reached VND346.4 billion ($16.49 million) on the exchange of 6.1 million shares.
Of note, the HNX30-Index lost 0.32 per cent to 124.8 points. – VNS
