HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Shares closed in the green after this morning's session.

On the HCM City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index added 0.77 per cent to hit 509.51 points.

As nearly 49.7 million shares were exchanged, trading value totalled VND636.76 billion (US$30 million).

The VN30, representing the bourse's 30 leading shares, also increased 0.8 per cent to 570.78 points. Only property developer Hoang Anh Gia Lai (HAG) and Vinh Son-Song Hinh Hydropower (VSH) tumbled.

On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the benchmark HNX-Index finished at 64.88 points, up 0.44 per cent.

The value and volume of trades reached VND155.77 billion ($7.3 million) and over 20.9 million shares.

The HNX30, composed of the northern bourse's largest stocks in terms of capitalisation and liquidity, rose 0.16 per cent to 123.46 points. — VNS
