Ha Noi (BizHub) — Continuing yesterdays increasing trend, shares advanced on both national stock exchanges this morning.
On the HCM City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index gained 0.62 per cent to reach 508.67 points, as total trading value reached VND874.64 billion (US$41.64 million) on the exchange of more than 69.12 million shares.
The VN30-Index, tracking the southern bourses top shares by capitalisation and liquidity, rose 0.46 per cent to 569.95 points.
Also, gainers tripled losers by 21-7.
Vietcombank (VCB), Masan Group (MSN), Military Bank (MBB), Kinh Do (KDC) and Hia Pht Group (HPG) were among todays losers.
Overall, 166 stocks added values, while 51 posted losses.
On the Ha Noi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index reached 65 points, an increase of 0.6 per cent. With 49.38 million shares traded, the total value reached VND361.78 billion ($17.22 million).
Meanwhile, the HNX30-Index jumped 1.71 per cent to 125.36 points. — VNS
