HA NOI (Biz Hub) – The upward trend continued on both national stock exchanges this morning.

On the HCM City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index finished 0.33 per cent higher to reach 500.6 points. The benchmark indice returned to the above-500-point level this morning.

More than 39.14 million shares were traded with a total value of VND551.46 billion (US$26.26 million).

The VN30-Index, tracking the southern bourse's largest shares by capitalisation and liquidity, gained 0.32 per cent to 558.96 points.

Sixteen codes edged up while three lost.

On the Ha Noi Stock Trading, the HNX-Index reached 61.25 points, 0.21 per cent higher than Wednesday's session.

The total trading value reached VND202.97 billion ($9.66 million) on the exchange of more than 28.9 million shares.

The HNX30-Index closed 0.82 per cent higher at 114.66 points. – VNS
