HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Shares closed higher on both the national stock exchanges this morning.
The VN-Index edged up 0.64 per cent to finish the morning session at 549.12 points, on the trading of 53.2 million shares.
The total trading value was VND806.34 billion (US$38 million).
The VN30-Index, tracking the southern bourse's largest shares by capitalisation and liquidity, finished at 604.736 points, 0.51 per cent higher, with the gainers outnumbering the losers by 18 to 6.
The big gainers this morning included Bao Viet Holdings (BVH), Hoa Phat Group (HPG), Kinh Do Corporation (KDC) and Masan (MSN).
On the Ha Noi Exchange, the HNX-Index gained 0.36 points, or 0.43 per cent, to close at 83.34 points.
More than 33.5 million shares were traded, worth VND472.9 billion ($22.3 million).
The HNX30-Index, comprising the bourse's top stocks, ended 0.32 per cent higher at 161.34 points. — VNS
