HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Share prices in markets across the Asia-Pacific region soared on October 29.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index increased by 229.51 points to close at 23,819.87 while in mainland China, the Shanghai Composite Index increased by 35.16 points to reach 2,373.03.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 added 224.00 points to finish at 15,553.91, and the Topix Index gained 18.64 points to end at 1,270.64. In Singapore, The Straits Times Index added 12.38 points to end at 3,224.03.
In Viet Nam, the VN index gained 8.07 points to close at 591.20, and the HNX edged up by 1.32 points to finish at 86.60.— VNS
