HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Share prices in stock markets across the Asia-Pacific region closed higher on December 4, including Hong Kong and Singapore.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index, which closed lower on December 3, jumped by 403.94 points to reach 23,835.56. In Singapore, the Straits Times Index, which likewise closed lower on December 3, edged up by 3.86 points to end at 3,307.25.
In Viet Nam, the VN Index gained by 3.50 points to close at 578.38, and the HNX edged up by 0.18 point to finish at 87.75.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 increased by 166.78 points to reach 17,887.21 ,and the Topix Index added 10.85 points to close at 1,440.60.
In mainland China, the Shanghai Composite Index likewise increased by 105.01 points to close at 2,884.53. — VNS
