HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Shares in all major markets across the Asian region fell on October 14.
In Japan, the Nikkei 225 fell by 2.38 per cent to a two-month low, losing by 364.04 points to finish at 14,936.51, and the Topix Index lost by 28.82 points to end at 1,214.27.
In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index lost by 95.41 points to close at 23,047.97 while in mainland China, the Shanghai Composite Index declined by 3.83 points to close at 1,345.64.
In Singapore, the Straits Times Index declined by 7.75 points to end at 3,194.40.
In Viet Nam, the VN index slipped by 8.43 points to close at 605.79, and the HNX edged down by 0.90 point to finish at 89.52. — VNS
